Teen Advisory Board
Are you interested in impacting library purchases, programs, and your community? Are you looking for community service hours? Teen Advisory Board might be just the group for you! TAB meets monthly (check the event calendar for exact dates) to discuss books and movies for purchase, library programming, and ideas for projects to improve the community. Teen Survey - Please take our Teen Survey so we can best serve the teens of Pawtucket! The survey will take just a few minutes to complete. You can fill out the survey in-person and online via Google Form. Once you've filled out the survey, stop in the Teen Center to receive your coupon for a free Jr. Frosty!
Monthly Movie Nights in the Teen Center! - New Releases and classic favorites on the screen in the Teen Center. Snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Check the Library's Calendar for details.
May Movie Night - Join us Thursday May 16 at 5 pm for movie night! Choose between the new Mean Girls (musical) and Blue Beetle at 5 pm, and the winning movie will play immediately following. Snacks and water will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Anime & Manga Club! - The next meeting will be Wednesday May 1 at 6 pm. We will be having snacks, introducing ourselves, and watching some anime (chosen by attendees) courtesy of Crunchyroll! Closed Captioning will be enabled for accessibility. Anyone who wants to join but can't make it that day should contact the Teen Librarian.

Pressed Flower Jars - Drop in between 3-5 pm Monday May 6 to make a Pressed Flower Jar! It makes a great Mother's Day gift, or you can keep it for yourself. Registration is encouraged to receive email updates, but it is not required.

Paint Pouring for Teens - Join us Wednesday May 15 from 6-8 pm for Paint Pouring! City Hall Volunteer Maria Ciccia will be showing us techniques on how to make a beautiful poured paint art piece. Registration is strongly encouraged as walk-ins will only be permitted at the beginning of the session if we have the supplies.

BYOB Club - Join us Wednesday May 29 at 7 pm for the first meeting of Bring Your Own Book Club! Talk about what you're reading now and books you've read in the past with other teens. You can share recommendations with each other and get recommendations from the Teen Librarian as well. Snacks will be provided, and all participants will get to go home with a book to keep. Registration is encouraged for email reminders, but not required.
Board Game Night! - May 30 from 5-8 pm, we will be holding a monthly Board Game Night for teens, thanks to a patron request! Eat some snacks and play games with your friends, and possibly meet some new ones. You can play any game we have in the Teen Center. No registration required!
