Story Time
Mother Goose Story Class 
Mondays @10:30
Parents and caregivers with children ages newborn through 24 months are invited for playful stories, songs, and rhymes followed
by social play time. Older siblings are welcome.

Toddler Story Class
Wednesdays @ 10:30am 

Toddlers aged 2-3 years old with their adult caregivers are invited to the library auditorium for stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft to share social reading and fun! No registration needed.

Thursdays @ 10:30am 

Join us for stories, music, and a fun craft at the Pawtucket Public library. Preschoolers ages 3-5 years old with an adult caregiver are invited. Younger siblings are always welcome! 

Sensory Exploration Fun!
Friday February 3

Come join us for fun hands-on sensory play activities that will help stimulate your child's senses and encourage learning together. This program is designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old with sensory integration challenges, but all children are welcome. Materials will be provided. Free - No Registration Required.

Decorate a Heart Cookie
Saturday February 4

Children ages 5 and up are invited to decorate a heart cookie at the library! Kids will be able to decorate their cookie and enjoy the sweet taste of their hard work. Free- all materials are provided. Registration is required.


Celebrate Black History Month: Make An African Paper Mask
Tuesday February 21
In celebration of Black History Month, we will be decorating an African paper mask. All the materials will be provided. Best for children ages 5 and up, but younger siblings are welcome with an adult caregiver. Registration required. 

Meet Watson The Police Dog
Tuesday February 21
Watson the Police Dog and his handler Trevor will be here for a special Story Time. Listen to a book and then spend time getting to know Watson. He loves belly rubs!

"Through Me To You" Puppet Story Time!
Wednesday February 22
Through me to you
Puppetry invites you to join Newton and the gang for Puppet Story Time! Newton and his puppet friends take turns reading stories and singing songs with the kids. At the end of the 30 minute show, the kids are invited to say hi to Newton and give him a high-five. They can even stay after the show to play with some of Newton’s puppets during a hands-on Puppet Free Play session! Best for children ages 3 and up, but all are welcome. Registration required.

Family Movie Night

Wednesday February 22
Lady and the Tramp

Children with their families are invited to watch a free movie, Lady and the Tramp (rated PG). Kids age 10 or older may attend without a caregiver. Masks are recommended.

Family BINGO
Thursday February 23
Kids and their families are welcome to grab a bingo card and try their chances at winning some free prizes like candy, books or card/board games. Program is Free and no registration needed. Best for kids 5 and up, but younger siblings are welcome with adult caregiver.

Drop-In Lego Afternoon
Friday February 24
Join us to spend time building Legos and inventing new creations with the library's Lego collection. Show off your creation to other Lego enthusiasts. 

Spanish Graphic Novel Book Club/

Club de lectura de Novela Gráfica en Español para Niños

Saturday February 25
Spanish Book Club

Join us for a monthly Spanish graphic novel book club for kids to practice conversing in Spanish.  Children who join the book club will receive a FREE copy of the book (while supplies last). Read the book with your friends, family or on your own and attend the book club to talk about your favorite part, answer trivia questions in Spanish and do an activity/craft.  Recommended for grades 3-5. Únase a nosotros para un club mensual de lectura de novelas gráficas en español para que los niños practiquen conversando en español.. Los niños que participen en el club de lectura recibirán una copia GRATIS del libro (mientras duren los libros). Lee el libro con tus amigos, familiares o solo y asiste al club de lectura para hablar sobre tu parte favorita, responder preguntas de trivia en español y hacer una actividad/manualidad.
