2022 RI Latino Books Award
Kids and teens should read at least three titles on the lists, according to their grade level, before voting online for their favorite choice. Voting opens April 1st!
The deadline to vote is May 29. The winners will be announced on May 31.

Mother Goose Story Class
Mondays @10:30
Parents and caregivers with children ages newborn through 24 months are invited for playful stories, songs, and rhymes followed
by social play time. Older siblings are welcome.
Toddler Story Class
Wednesdays @ 10:30am
Toddlers aged 2-3 years old with their adult caregivers are invited to the library auditorium for stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft to share social reading and fun! No registration needed.

Preschool Story Class
Thursdays @ 10:30am
Join us for stories, music, and a fun craft at the Pawtucket Public library. Preschoolers ages 3-5 years old with an adult caregiver are invited. Younger siblings are always welcome!
Yoga Story Class

Children ages 3-6 and their adult caregivers are invited to our Yoga Story Class. This special story class features stories and movement designed to engage kids using their whole bodies. Yoga helps children develop a sense of balance, spatial awareness, coordination, and control. We will also work on some calming techniques. Please have your child wear comfortable clothing they can bend and move in.
Celebrating Latino Books: A Book Club for Kids

Joins us for a book club celebrating Latino Authors. Children who join the book club will receive a FREE copy of the book (while supplies last). Read the book with your friends, family or on your own and attend the book club to talk about your favorite part, answer trivia questions and do an activity/craft. Registration is required. Graphic Novel Book Club

The Graphic Novel Book Club for kids will be sharing ideas and doing activities focused on the book, Stargazing by Jen Wang. The first 10 kids to register will receive a free copy of the book. Other copies will be available for check-out. Join us to share your thoughts about the book, play trivia games and complete a craft. Welcome to all children who have read the book. This title is best for ages 9-11.
Family Movie Night

Children with their families are invited to watch a free movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy (rated PG). Kids age 10 or older may attend without a caregiver.

Join us for the beginning of Summer Reading at the Library. Fiddle N’ Fun is an independent music education program designed for young children (and adult caregivers). "Mister Joel" delivers unique, hands-on learning experiences through singing, movement, instruments, and much more!
Crafty Kids Club Take & Make
A new craft every week! Come to the Children’s Library to get a “Take & Make” Craft Kit. The kit includes everything to make the project at home (exceptions: glue, scissors, crayons, markers.)
