YOU can help the Pawtucket Public Library meet the needs of the community
Donations and Memorial Gifts
Donations or Memorial Gifts can be made to one of the library’s endowment funds. The interest from the funds are spent as follows:
Caidin Trust - library programs for children
Citizen's Committee Fund - spent at discretion of the Library's Trustees
Community Service Fund - library programs for adults
Father St-Godard Religious Study Fund - materials that represent the beliefs of all faiths
Gerald Burns Fund - library programs for teens
Little Acorn Fund - spent at the discretion of the Library's Trustees
Mabel M. Anderson Fund - materials that help children develop the joy of reading
Zucker Trust - materials on aging and of interest to seniors
Legacy gifts such as endowments, bequests and trusts may be made to the library. Funds will be invested in one of the library’s endowment funds or a separate fund can be established. Endowment funds may be established with a gift of $20,000 or more. Contact the Library Director for more information by calling 401-725-3714 x202 or emailing to Library Director.
The Pawtucket Public Library seeks to recognize those who have supported the library through financial contributions by naming areas of and items in the library in their honor or in their memory. These naming opportunities, with necessary approval from the library’s Board of Trustees, may include but are not limited to naming rooms in one of the library’s buildings; naming furnishings, equipment, and library collections; and/or putting names on designated plaques or nameplates.
