FREE in-person Digital Literacy Classes are back!

These free in-person classes are made possible by a legislative grant sponsored by Senator Mendes through the State Senate’s grant program and Funding Provided by The RI Office of Library and Information Services through the American Rescue Plan Act.
Registration is required. Please be sure to choose the class listed for the Pawtucket Public Library location when registering.

Microsoft Word Basics
Instruction in English
Intro to Word, the interface, commands, and create, format, save and print documents.
*Prerequisite: Basic use of the mouse and keyboard.
Mondays & Wednesdays 4 - 6 pm
Session I: May 2 to 18
Session II: May 23 to June 8 (5/30 no class)
Session III: June 13 to 29

Basic Computer Skills
Instruction in English
Computer hardware, use of the mouse and keyboard, and understanding of common controls.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4 pm - 6 pm
Session I: May 3 to 19
Session II: May 24 to June 9
Session III: June 14 to 30

Instruction in English
Intro to Excel, the interface, commands, and create, format, save and print workbooks. *
Prerequisite: Basic use of the mouse and keyboard.

Instruction in English
Mouse and keyboard, internet browsing, and online privacy & security
