Holiday Drop-in Craft Programs Children of all ages and their families are invited to make a special craft in celebration of the holidays below. Just drop-in to the Caidin Activity Room on the following Saturdays between 2:30pm and 4:00pm. All materials will be provided. No registration required.

Children’s Pre-school Storytime Classes
Registration encouraged, but not required.
Register by calling the Children’s librarian at 725-3714 ext. 209 or emailing to childrens@pawtucketlibrary.org.
All storytimes are held in the Children’s Library Activity Room. Storytime classes usually last between 30 to 45 minutes.

Mother Goose Storytime Thursdays @ 10:30 a.m. For ages newborn to 24 months Older siblings are welcome
No Mother Goose Storytime class on April 11th
Mother Goose Storytime is for newborns through age 2 (older siblings always welcomed)
This story class features playful songs, rhymes and games followed by social time.

Toddler Story Class Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. For ages 2 & 3 years old Siblings are welcome
Toddler Story Class is for children ages 2 and 3 with their adult caregivers. This program features stories, songs and finger rhymes.

Pre-School Story Class Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. For ages 3 to 5 years old
Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 years with an adult caregiver are invited to the library for stories, music, movement and other fun activities. Younger siblings are welcome.

Bilingual Story Class

Bilingual Story Class Every Other Friday 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Caidin Activity Room
Starts Friday, April 12th (alternating Fridays will be Lego Club/Game Day)
An afternoon family bilingual story hour for children of all ages every other Friday. Fun stories, simple crafts and sing-along songs in English and Spanish the whole family will enjoy. Registration encouraged, but not required.
Cuentos bilingües en Familia para niños de todas edades cada otro viernes. Cuentos divertidos, artesanía y canciones en Ingles y Español divertido para toda la familia. Registración es recomendada, pero no es necesario.

Friday is Lego Game Day in the Children’s Library!

We've combined Game Day & Lego Club into one fun Friday.
We'll provide the Legos and the board games, you choose your fun!
For kids 7-12, but younger children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Every other Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Caidin Activity Room.

Reading with Tinker Bell Tuesdays 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Caidin Activity Room
If you need practice reading or just like reading to dogs, Tinker Bell the therapy dog is perfect for you! Sign up for one 15-minute session or just stop by and say hello to Tinker Bell. Call us to reserve a reading spot at 725-3714 ext. 209.

Family Movie Night

Family Movie Night First Wednesday of every month @ 6:00 pm In the Campbell Library Auditorium (in the basement)
Children with their families are invited to watch a free movie (rated G or PG) on the first Wednesday of every month. Kids aged 9 or older may attend without a caregiver.

Crafty Thursdays with Miss Maria

Thursdays 3:00-4:00pm Caidin Activity Room
Drop in for a fun afternoon craft every Thursday. Best for children ages 5 and up but younger children are welcome with caregiver help. No registration required. Starts April 4th
Artesanía para Niños con Miss Maria Jueves 3:00-4:00pm Cuarto de Caidin Pase por la tarde para una actividad de artesanía cada Jueves. Mejor para niños de 5 años en adelante, pero niños pequeños son bienvenidos con la ayuda de sus padres. No se requiere registración. Empezando el 4 de Abril.
